He moves into Tim's apartment, leading to a series of comedic misunderstandings and close calls as Tim tries to keep Uncle Martin's true identity a secret from their nosy landlady, Mrs. Brown, and the suspicious authorities. The show blends science fiction with situational comedy, exploring the humorous challenges of an alien trying to adapt to human customs and the constant scramble to maintain their extraordinary secret.
