9-1-1: Lone Star is a spin-off of the popular 9-1-1 series, set in Austin, Texas, and focusing on the lives of first responders, including firefighters, paramedics, and police officers. The series centers on Owen Strand, a sophisticated and empathetic New York City firefighter who was the sole survivor of his firehouse on 9/11. He moves to Austin with his troubled son, T.K. Strand, a gay paramedic, to help rebuild a fire station after a tragic incident decimated its crew.
