In 1925, American street fighter and con artist Christopher Dubois finds himself on the run from the law after a botched robbery attempt in New York. He stows away on a cargo ship that takes him to a remote, ancient city in Tibet. There, he is reluctantly chosen to participate in the "Gongmen," a legendary underground martial arts tournament known as "The Quest," where the world's most elite fighters gather to compete for a priceless golden dragon statue. Under the guidance of a wise martial arts master and an enigmatic British adventurer, Dubois must train rigorously to compete against formidable opponents from across the globe, not only to win the tournament but also to prove his worth, find redemption, and escape the dangers that follow him.
